King of Charts
The King of Charts is a release of the Gann swing chapter from the Trading DNA manual.
The Gann swing chart is, in my opinion, one of the greatest trading charts
ever created. It was designed to remove time from a market, simply following the
movement of prices. However, one of my discoveries, simple yet unbelievably
profitable, was to assert Time back into the swing chart and this has opened a
new world of opportunities to even the most elementary new traders.
Further to this, I found a pattern in the swing chart with these results on the
top 200 Australian stocks:
Jan 06 Trades 29 Wins 26 Accuracy 90% with 2 runs of 9 wins in a row
Feb 06 Trades 19 Wins 14 Accuracy 74%
Mar 06 Trades 29 Wins 22 Accuracy 76%
During this quarter, the pattern has not had more than 2 losses in a row, and
winning runs of 5 -8 in a row are very common.
The result of using increasing parcel sizes as your account grows is truly
outstanding. I have deliberately refrained from quoting balance growth as the
figures appear to be unrealistic until you actually check them for yourself.
The amazing thing about this pattern is that anyone can find it, even a child
could recognise the pattern with only basic instructions. The most important
part, though, is that the pattern clearly and without any deliberation,
indicates the entry, the stop loss and the profit targets.
Our job is simply to place the trade order with the broker. The only human
decision is to trade with the trend of the market.
This technique is exceptionally good for all traders, experienced or brand new,
and its main benefit is to restore confidence to traders who have been battling
to make profits using more complicated systems.
The pattern works in all markets and all time frames, intra day included. It
helps to make profits especially after the run has begun. Many traders sit back
in dismay after seeing a strong move which has begun without them, then we
dither and beat ourselves up over missing this golden trade. The pattern,
entitled Olivers Wedge, gives clear and precise instruction and gets you on
board for the strongest reactions.
To help locate the opportunities, I have been in negotiations with an Australian
company Market Analyst. The programmers have completed a software tool to locate
the trades as they occur and identify them on your charts. Using this software
you will be able to scan your chosen market/s to locate the opportunities, thus
removing the need for manual searches.
